- SF Logistics provides freight forwarding and related shipping services between China and Sri Lanka, subject to service availability.
- Customers must provide accurate contact details, item descriptions, quantities, values and documents requested for shipment or customs clearance.
- Transit times are estimates and may change due to carrier schedules, customs inspection, weather, port operations or other events outside our reasonable control.
- Customers are responsible for checking that goods can legally be exported, imported and transported on the selected route.
2. Booking & Warehouse Delivery
- Obtain the required booking/reference number and current warehouse instructions before sending a parcel.
- Write the booking/reference number clearly on the parcel.
- Submit the required order details through the designated order form or approved communication channel.
- After dispatching the parcel to the China warehouse, send the domestic courier tracking number through your registered WhatsApp number or email.
- Parcels received without required booking details, parcel marking or tracking information may be delayed or difficult to identify, and this may affect investigation of a related claim.
3. Air Cargo
- Air cargo charges may be calculated using actual gross weight or volumetric weight, according to the applicable service rules.
- The volumetric weight formula used in the current customer policy is:
- The minimum air freight charge is 1 kg per package. Chargeable weight is rounded up to the next 0.5 kg in accordance with the applicable policy.
- Declare batteries, liquids, powders, magnets and electrical components before shipment. Acceptance and routing depend on carrier rules. Battery-containing items must be sent by sea unless SF Logistics confirms an approved alternative in writing.
- Confirm the item type and shipping method before dispatch when special handling may be required.
4. Sea Cargo
- Sea cargo charges may depend on actual weight, volume (CBM), cargo type and the applicable quotation.
- A minimum charge of 5 kg and/or volume-based minimums may apply depending on the shipment. Confirm the applicable minimum and quotation before dispatch.
- For a new sea-shipping order, provide the item name, item photo, estimated total weight and package dimensions or CBM volume.
- Transit times are estimates and may be affected by vessel schedules, consolidation, customs procedures and port operations.
5. Packaging & Fragile Items
- Customers must ensure goods are packed suitably for international transport and handling.
- Fragile, breakable or high-value goods must be declared before the parcel reaches the warehouse, with clear instructions and supporting evidence where requested.
- Where original packaging must be retained, follow the current written instructions. The shipping mark may be required on the courier label, for example SF-保持原包装-[Client Code]. Notify SF Logistics through an approved channel and provide the domestic tracking number before warehouse delivery.
- If fragile/original-packaging instructions are not provided in advance or the required shipping mark is missing, SF Logistics may be unable to verify the handling request or accept a related claim.
- Repacking or removal of outer packaging may occur where permitted by the selected service or communicated warehouse instructions.
6. Customs & Restricted Goods
- Accurately declare each item and its value and provide invoices, packing lists, permits or other documents when requested.
- Goods may be inspected, delayed, assessed for duties/taxes, detained, seized, returned or refused by customs or other authorities.
- Do not send prohibited, restricted, dangerous or controlled goods without prior written confirmation that the shipment is permitted and required approvals are in place.
- Customs duties, taxes, examination charges, storage, penalties or other government/carrier charges may be payable by the customer where applicable.
- SF Logistics does not guarantee customs release or a particular customs decision.
7. Shipping Charges & Payments
- Rates may vary by service, chargeable weight or volume, cargo category, route, exchange rates, carrier surcharges and other applicable costs.
- Confirm the applicable quotation or published rate schedule before shipping. Special handling, customs, local delivery, storage, repacking or third-party charges may be additional where applicable.
- A quotation is based on information supplied by the customer and may need revision if actual cargo details differ.
- Payment must be made using a method confirmed by SF Logistics for the selected service. Release or delivery may depend on settlement of outstanding charges.
8. Delivery & Collection
- Collection and local delivery options depend on the shipment, route and current operational arrangements.
- Provide an accurate delivery address and reachable phone number and follow the selected courier's delivery requirements.
- Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance, courier operations, incomplete address details or events outside SF Logistics' reasonable control.
- Inspect parcels upon receipt and promptly report visible damage, shortage or delivery discrepancies with supporting evidence.
9. Damage, Loss, Claims & Refunds
- Report claims promptly through official contact channels, including the booking/reference number, courier tracking details, item description, photographs, packaging evidence and other requested information.
- Claims are reviewed based on available evidence, service conditions, applicable law and relevant carrier or insurance terms. Refunds or compensation are not automatic.
- Failure to book a shipment, declare fragile handling requirements, provide a required shipping mark or submit evidence may affect whether a claim can be verified or accepted.
- Customs detention, prohibited or undeclared goods, inaccurate declarations, inadequate packaging or missing identification details may limit available remedies, subject to applicable law.
- If a refund or compensation is approved, the amount and processing method will be communicated to the customer.
